As cleaner separator for magnetite concentrates

This equipment can be used in cleaner separation of magnetite concentrates. Fe grade of the concentrates could be increased by 2 - 9% with less impurity contents like silicon, sulfur and phosphorus. By applying this technology to upgrade the magnetite concentrates produced from magnetic iron ores easily being separated by a drum magnetic separator, a super quality concentrate could be possibly achieved, grading up to 72%Fe. Customers could select different “formula” (a set of optimized parameters as set in the control panel) to be suitable to variable iron ore properties, and the equipment could function automatically according to the corresponding mathematical model to precisely separate gangue and intergrown particles of low Fe grade based on customers’ requested concentrate grades, without any labor handling involvement during this process. For those who want to improve productivity of iron concentrates, it could be achieved by a coarse grind to improve the efficiency of each machine, realizing an economic beneficiation performance but without decreasing the concentrate grade.

As thickener for magnetite concentrates

In situations of long distance pipeline transportation of magnetic iron concentrates, the equipment can be functioned as a thickener by using a large magnetic intensity but without any need of water supply to efficiently get iron concentrate slurry with a concentration of normally above 67%±0.5%, while magnetic iron content in the overflow will be lower than 0.5%. As a thickener, its dry material handling capacity is 150 tons per hour.

As sloughing-off tank

When using a high magnetic intensity and a high water supply rate, all gangue will overflow but all magnetic materials including intergrowth will stay. Magnetic iron content in the overflow is even lower than 0.1% so as to ensure a high Fe recovery rate. The largest handling capacity of dry material with this equipment can be as high as 150 tons per hour for acting as a sloughing-off tank.

Replacement of flotation process

This function is particularly applicable to complex and refractory magnetite ores. When grinding size is more than 90% passing 325 mesh, it can partially or totally substitute for reverse flotation process, significantly reducing production costs.

For washing coal

As magnetic dense-media recovery equipment in coal washing industry, this machine can be used to separate and recover ultra-fine magnetic particles precisely.
