Project Manager/Designer/Project Estimator/Engineers

Due to its business expansion, Billinton Group is seeking the following talents to join our team in Australia and China: 

1. Business Manager, China

A dedicated entrepreneurial business manager is required to be responsible for the day-to-day management and business development of our operations in China. 

This exciting role requires the candidate to have a bachelor degree, preferably at a postgraduate level such as a MBA degree, with at least 10 years extensive experiences in environmental engineering, marketing, operation, management, and government and relationship.  Ideally, you posses dynamic and progressive leadership abilities; high-level management, organization development, communication and people skills; highly effective financial, human and material resource management; a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with the Board of Directors, Chairman/CEO and staff to achieve strategic objectives; a highly successful career in the environmental engineering and products areas particularly in FGD and dust control.

2. Project Managers, China

 Two dedicated project managers are required to be responsible for the implementation of projects, management and business development, liaison with people at different levels and various organizations and government bodies. 

These exciting roles require candidates to have a bachelor degree with 5-10 years experience in managing a team of engineers, dealing with various people and organizations, and delivering these engineering projects on time and within budget in air pollution control areas particularly in FGD and dust control for exhausted gases from power and iron and steel industries, demonstrating lead project management experience on projects over $10M within the target industries. 

 Reporting to the Business Manager, candidates will also need to communicate fluently in both Chinese and English.  Candidates must possess leadership skills and a "can do" attitude with business acumen is essential for the role.

3. Senior Sales Manager, China

 One dedicated sales manager is required to be responsible for the day-to-day management of the sales of environmental protection technologies and products such as FGD, dust removal, oil mist elimination, and hot gas cleaning. The successful candidate will be responsible for the formulation of the marketing, operational systems and plans, responsible for sales management of flue gas desulfurization, dust control, oil mist elimination projects or products; and assisting in the development of the company's strategic goals and business operation policies. 

This exciting role requires candidates to have a bachelor degree in environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or a related field with a minimum of 10 years experience in charge of sales of environmental engineering technology and products in an environmental engineering company. The candidate must have been involved in FGD and dust control, with a previous sales achievement of more than $30 million annually. You also need to have good social skills, excellent image quality, and strong ability to be able to build public relations. A calm personality yet decisive, being vigorous and resolute and also to be professional at all times are amongst the merits that the candidates should possess. 4. Chemical Engineers, Australia and China

To be considered, candidates have to be equipped with strong analytical skills and technical knowledge of building construction and air pollution control equipment construction and installation, first class written and oral communication skills both in English and Chinese - including good negotiating abilities, initiative, drive and a commitment to developing your skills in estimation, ability to work both independently and within a team. You need to be degree qualified in construction or civil engineering or engineering management or a related field, with 5 years of considerable experience in FGD and dust collection equipment in either power or iron and steel industry, and proficiency with bid preparation valued at $30million and above.

6. Electronics or Electrical Engineer, China

To be considered for this role, candidates will be degree qualified in electronics or electrical engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years experience in electronics manufacturing industry with extensive skills in design and installation of electronic control devices. As the role involves a certain level of autonomy, it is essential that you are a person who is self-motivated; someone who relishes rising to a challenge! 7. Agricultural Mechanical Engineer, Australia or China

One team-spirited mechanical design engineer in Australia or China, with a demonstrated commitment to the environment is required to embark on a challenging and rewarding role in our crops protection technology and devices division. This position reports to the Principal Scientist and Chief Engineer in our R&D and Engineering Division, which incorporates cutting-edge technology. The key focus will be to use systematic optimizing design skills to design and upgrade our crops protection devices and systems. 

Successful candidates will hold a recognized degree in agricultural mechanical or mechanical engineering or electro-mechanical engineering or a related field, backed by at least 5 years experience, in agricultural machinery manufacturing industry, with extensive skills in design and site experience of crops spraying devices, particularly backpack and boom sprayers. 

Corresponding to the above will be demonstrably high project planning and management skills, a proven ability to meet and achieve to legislate, environmental and design standards. Applicant must be able to demonstrate competent use of a 3D CAD package, preferably Autodesk Inventor. Due to the nature of the role, excellent communication (report writing, PC communication) and fluency in both Chinese and English and the ability to maintain, build relationships and lead people are a must. 

Those who have previous design of crops protection sprayers, particularly boom spraying machinery will be highly regarded. As the development of the machinery is involved in design of electrostatic technology and electric circuit, so your knowledge of electrical or electronics engineering is a bonus. 

Candidates able to complement the above attributes with registered or chartered Professional Engineer status will be viewed favourably.

8. R&D Engineers, Australia and China

Two team-spirited R&D researchers either in Australia or China, with demonstrated commitment to the environment are required to embark on a challenging and rewarding role in the science and environmental engineering division, working closely with our principal scientist and chief engineer in our R&D and Engineering Division incorporating cutting-edge technology.  Key focus of this position will be to apply chemical engineering and systematic optimizing design skills to enhance research and development strengths. 

Ideally, you will be degree qualified, at least a Masters degree in chemical or environmental engineering or science or a related field with a minimum of relevant 5 years considerable research and development experience. It is essential that your previous experience is in either power or the iron and steel industry in development of innovative technologies and processes for flue gas-cleaning process, preferable with the process of ammonia based wet FGD. You must have strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Strong communication skills both in Chinese and English are also essential.

9. Geologists, Australia

Two team-spirited geologists, one senior and one intermediate level, in Australia, with demonstrated commitment to the environment are required to embark on a challenging and rewarding role in minerals exploration field working closely with  and reporting to our geological manager in our resources division.  Key focus of these positions will be to apply your geological survey expertise of minerals to enhance the company's development of resources. 

To be considered, candidates will be degree qualified in geology or a related field, with at least 10 years of considerable experience in review, planning and execution of exploration programs in either metal mining or coal industry covering projects at all stages of maturity from reconnaissance to resource delineation drilling. Sound knowledge of exploration search methodologies in eastern Australia, extensive field experience and software modeling, and autonomous self starter with well developed project management skills, are preferable. 

Strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment and strong communication skills in English are essential. Good command in Chinese is viewed favourably.

10. Draft Persons

Opportunities have arisen for two dedicated draft persons to join our engineering team in China. Main duties will be to modify plans to the client needs, construct working drawings from our sales team, solve design problems, liaise with clients over changes and designs and produce master plans for the environmental engineering projects. The positions report to the Engineering Manager. 

To succeed in this position, candidates must have at least 5 years experience in drawing with the major software applications.  Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Solidworks and other drawing software, exceptional communication, organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to work within a diverse team are essential. A positive, energetic and flexible approach is needed to fulfill the position. 

Those who have had previous drawing experiences of FGD in an engineering protection engineering company will be highly regarded.
