Hi-Tech Developement

Billinton Group and its partners have invested in various Hi-tech areas and businesses. We welcome investors to join our highly profitable investment of Hi-tech projects, adhering to the business philosophy of innovation, equality and mutual benefits.

Upgrading and Improving Billinton Group R&D Centre

Billinton Group's research and development center is dedicated to the innovation of new technology and products of the energy-saving and environmental protection, of the reutilization of resources from the wastes, and of the electrostatic technology and its application, and related products development. These exciting technologies are the latest innovation by our senior scientists and engineers who have spent more than 20 years in research and development in the field of flue gas desulphurization and dust collection, and the application of electrostatic technology.

At present, China's "Eleventh Five-Year" emission reduction targets are only related to chemical oxygen demand and sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and particulate matter in the air are not included in the national economic assessment indicators. During the period of "Twelfth Five-Year", some new key projects will be added to China's environmental protection planning. Air pollution control will add new contents, such as particulate matter (PM) value (suspended respirable particulate matter) in motor vehicle exhaust emissions, and greenhouse gas emissions reduction. Development of a recycling economy from industrial waste, waste gases and wastewater, and development of low-carbon economy are all amongest. Investment in environmental protection, for China's "Twelfth Five-Year" period, will reach 3.1 trillion RMB, more than double of the investment for the period of "Eleventh Five-year". "In the near future, China's environmental protection investment will exceed Japan, the United States and other developed countries."

To catch up the opportunities, Billinton Group is planning to carry on a further investment to upgrade the research center with more advanced equipment and facilities.

Project Demonstration and Implementation of Ammonia-based WFGD

"Charged Fogger Scrubbing" WFGD technology is the latest innovation by our senior scientists and engineers who have spent more than 20 years in research and development in the field of flue gas desulphurization and dust collection. Billinton Group and its associates have planned to implement this integrated technology of FGD and fine dust removal into a fertilizer manufacturing plant where installation of FGD is required. Waste ammonia from the plant's wastewater is going to be used as the reagents for this FGD. Use of waste ammonia from chemical fertilizer plants to absorb sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides from the flue gas will produce ammonium sulfate fertilizers which as saleable.  This process will not only remove harmful gases of sulfur and nitrogen, but also recover and reutilize these elements and eliminate waste water treatment, producing good economic benefits. The project is a small-scale demonstration project with a total investment of around 20 million Chinese RMB Yuan. BOT is going to be used to carry on the operation of this project. The technology can effectively clean fine particles, eliminating white smoke from the stack which is normally containing ammonia and other aerosols if using a traditional ammonia-based FGD. Power plants or factories can make use of low-cost high-sulfur coal or low-quality coal to reduce costs. This technology has a low operation cost, a large market and is remarkably worthwhile to promote.

An Innovative Spraying Technology Implementation in China and Australia

Billinton Group and its associates have planned to invest 15 million RMB Yuan in China to set up a manufacturing company for its newly developed electrostatic pesticide spraying machinery for crops and plants protection. Products are targeting China's vast market, as well as Australia and other markets. Currently in Australia, a large truck-mounted boom sprayer with traditional technology costs up to US$150,000-200,000 dollars. This provides a broad prospect and space for our competitive technologies and products.

A Joint Venture in China - Oil Mist Elimination Equipment

Billinton Group and its associates have agreed and planned to carry on the first phase of investment of 15 million Chinese RMB Yuan for its state-of-the-art cleaning system for kitchen exhaust in the catering industry such as hotels and restaurants. This need has been emerging for less than 10 years in China, having a potential market of 56 billion RMB with 9 billion RMB accumulations each year. Chinese domestic sales value is currently averaged at 400 million RMB each year. An investment of 30 million RMB is required for the second phase to expand its production capability.
