Operation Principle

Operation Principle of Fully Automatic Elutriated Magnetic Separator

Circulating water is tangentially injected from the bottom of the equipment while ground iron ores enter from the top feeding device and then spread into separation zone. Under the interaction of magnetic field force, gravity of particles and impulse of ascending water, non-magnetic substances and intergrowths of low Fe grade will go through an overflow channel in the upper part of the equipment and then be discharged from an overflow pipe as tailings. Magnetic iron concentrates will be discharged from a concentrate pipe at the bottom and then subsequently to a filter.
